As a financial advisor based at Fortune Financial in Minnetonka, Minn., Zach focuses on helping entrepreneurs, executives, and business owners in the Twin Cities and Rocky Mountain region (and beyond) develop and maintain sound financial strategies based on their individual circumstances.
Zach was drawn into the financial advising career path by his father and mentor, Larry Altman, CFP®, CLU®, CLTC, but also by his desire to have an impact on others’ lives around him for the better. He is registered in nearly half of the United States, and proudly offers services to clients throughout the country.
Growing up with a brother who has special needs, Zach has a place in his heart and practice for working with special needs families and the unique financial needs their caretakers have. He, above all, is dedicated to educating his clients early on to create real and permanent behavioral changes surrounding their finances, helping them to reach their goals efficiently and on their own terms.
Zach grew up in Mound, Minn., and is a University of Minnesota—Twin Cities alumnus. Outside of his advising practice, he enjoys golfing, skiing, hiking, and traveling. He is also an avid Minnesota sports fan.
